Swanage, St Mary the Virgin
The parish church of St Mary the Virgin, Swanage is an imposing structure and is located on Church Hill which connects High Street and Kings Road West. The large tower is almost detached and needs to be climbed to reach the ringing room.

I visited for the first time on Tuseday 22nd May 2018 while on holiday and walking the South West Coast Path. I rang some Rounds & Call Changes, plain Bob Doubles, and ended with Stedman Triples!
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 8 bells with a tenor weighing 22-0-24 in E. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Mary and more information is provided by the Salisbury Diocesan Guild of Ringers.
