Ryhall, St John the Evangelist
The parish Church of St John the Evangelist is on the west side of Church St in the middle of Ryhall. I parked on Bridge Street.
The ringing room is reached by climbing a short but fairly steep ladder/staircase.

I visited for the first time on Sunday 21st August 2016 to join the ringing before the evening service. There were just the six of us and unusually for me I only rang the front bells, i.e. the treble and #2. We rang some call changes, Plain Hunt and a plain course of Bob Doubles. Both of the bells that I rang went nicely.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing 11-1-5 in F. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St John the Evangelist and more information is provided by the Peterborough Diocesan Guild of Church Bellringers.
