Bourton-on-the-Water, St Lawrence
St Lawrence Church lies between High Street and School Hill and can be accessed from either end. There is quite a lot of parking on High Street but this is a popular tourist spot so there may not be many vacant parking spots.
The ringing room is reached by climbing a short staircase, their is tower access both from inside and outside of the church.

I visited for the first time on to join the Four Shires Guild of Bell Ringers for their weekly practice session. I started by ringing bell #3 for Grandsire Triples followed by another touch of the same but covering on the Tenor. I also managed a touch of Stedman Triples on bell #5.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 8 bells with a tenor weighing 12-1-22 in F#. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Lawrence and more information is provided by the Gloucester & Bristol Diocesan Association of Church Bell Ringers.
