Stanton, St Michael and All Angels
Stanton Parish Church is built of the local cotswold stone and can be found up a short lane off the High Street (the road that heads up the hill). The ringing room was a rather small one on the ground floor, which also seemed to be used as a store room, with not a lot of room to ring. I don't think they ring very regularly so that may explain the "clutter". The bells are arranged as an anti-clockwise ring and are very loud in the ringing room.
I visited for the first time on Saturday 19th May 2007 as part of our 2007 tour.
The tower has a peal of 6 bells.
