Temple Guiting, St Mary
The parish Church of St Mary, Temple Guiting, is situated in the south of this small Cotswold village and, like much of the village, is built of Cotswold stone. There is limited parking on the street beside the Church.
The church is outside the main part of the village and has open views to the South. The tower is large and the ringing room is reached by climbing a spiral stone staircase the entrance to which is inside the Church. The room has a high ceiling and one low window.

I visited for the first time on Saturday 10th April 2010 as the first tower on the Harvington ringers annual tour. I only rang two bells, the treble and #4, for call changes and Plain Hunt and both were easy to ring.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 5 bells with a tenor weighing 11-3-17 in F♯. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Mary and more information is provided by the Gloucester & Bristol Diocesan Association of Church Bell Ringers.
