Swalcliffe, St Peter & St Paul
The parish Church of St Peter & St Paul, Swalcliffe is situated on the north side of B4035 near the middle of this small village. There is space for a few cars to park opposite the church.
The ringing room is reached by climbing the 29 steps of a stone spiral staircase. There is a doorway onto the staircase inside the tower, there is also a doorway on the outside west face of the tower. The room is quite cosy but does have space for a few people in addition to those ringing the 6 bells.

My first visit was on Thursday 21st February 2013 as the fourth, and last, tower
[1st,
2nd,
3rd]
of the 280th Mid-week Outing
of the
Four Shires Guild.
I started by ringing up bell #4 and followed this with a touch of Stedman Doubles.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing 13-2-1 in F. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Peter & St Paul and more information is provided by the Oxford Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers.
