Chetton, St Giles
I rang at St Giles, the Parish Church of Chetton as part of a tour in 2006. Ringing takes place from the ground floor and, somewhat surprising, the length of the ring is quite short. They are nice to ring and sound good too.
The Bells
The 6 bells were originally cast by the founder John Rudhall in 1827, the #4 was replaced by a new bell in 1938 from the founder John Taylor. The tenor weighs 12-1-9 in F♯. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Giles.
