Kemerton, St Nicholas
Kemerton Parish Church, St Nicholas, is built of the local cotswold stone and is situated south of the main part of the village. I arrived by bike and did not notice any nearby parking.
I visited for the first time on Sunday 31st May 2009 as part of the "RING and RIDE" tour around Bredon Hill arranged by St Andrew's Parish Centre. The ringing room is on the ground floor and is accessed through a door from the nave. I rang a couple of plain courses of Plain Bob Minor on bell #3 which semed fine to me.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing ~12-0-0 in F♯. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Nicholas.
There is some additional information provided by Worcestershire & Districts Change Ringing Association.
