Little Comberton, St Peter
The Parish Church of St Peter, is a solid looking tower built of the local cotswold stone and is situated on your left on the as you enter the small village of Little Comberton from the south. There is limited parking on the verge of Manor Lane beside the church.
The ringing room is at the top of a spiral stone staircase that is accessed from the outside of the tower on the south side. The bells are not rung very often and are not straightforward to ring.

I visited for the first time on Saturday 19th May 2007 as part of our 2007 tour. It was hard work ringing these bells, you had to work on both the hand and backstrokes. Oh, and the tower moved quite noticeably when the bells were being rung.

I returned for a second visit on Sunday 31st May 2009 as part of the "RING and RIDE" tour around Bredon Hill arranged by St Andrew's Parish Centre. The bells, particularly #5 and the Tenor are still hard work but my skill has increased during the intervening 2 years and they did not present any great difficulty. I rang up #3, covered for Plain Bob Doubles on the Tenor and rang down #5.

I visited again on Saturday 26st October 2013 for the monthly practice of the WDCRA Southern Branch.
I started of by ringing Stedman Doubles on bell #5 but we abandoned it due to difficulties, mostly caused by poor striking with the tricky bells. I made an attempt at Cambridge Surpise Minor on bell #3 but it I would never have madeit to the end without a minder. AS the evening progressed the handling of the bells improved and I finished off with a nice touch (240 changes) of Stedman Doubles on bell #4.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing 13-1-18 in G. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Peter. No information on the bells history or inscriptions was to be found in the tower.
There is some additional information provided by Worcestershire & Districts Change Ringing Association.
