Martley, St Peter
The parish Church of St Peter, Martley is South of the B4204 and overlooks open ground.
I rang in this tower as part of a tour in 2004.
The Bells
We were also told that this was the oldest complete set of 6 bells in the county and were cast in 1673 by Richard Keene of Woodstock, Oxfordshire.
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing 12-0-22 in F. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Peter and more information is provided by the Worcestershire & Districts Change Ringing Association.
