Overbury, St Faith
St Faith Church in Overbury is situated on the north side of the road running between Conderton and Kemerton. The tower is in the middle of the church between the chancel and the nave. Access to the ringing is from the outside through a door on the north side of the tower and up a steep, narrow, spiral staircase.

I visited for the first time on Monday 24th March 2008 as part of the WDCRA tour prior to the AGM. There were a lot of ringers following the same tour so not much opportunity to ring. However, I rang up bell #5 and then we did some Rounds and Call Changes. These were nice easy set of bells to ring.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing 9-1-21 in A♭. They appear to have had a complicated history [1, 2]. The oldest is bell #4 cast by Robert Hendley of Gloucester circa 1480. Bell #3 is thought to have been cast circa 1600, by Newcombe of Leicester. Bells #2 and #6 were case in 1641 by Roger Purdue. Bell #5 was cast in 1719 by Abraham Rudhall II. Finally, the treble, which was added in 1903, was cast in the same year by John Taylor.
