Horton, St James the Elder
The Parish Church of St James the Elder is well north of the main part of the village and next to Horton Court, a 12thC rectory now in the care of the National Trust. There is a car park.
The bells and ringing room completed an extensive refurbishment in 2010 and an excellent job was done. The ringing room is painted white with an arch opening on to the nave and an arched window on the opposite face of the tower looking westward resulting in a light and airy room. There is some seating for those not ringing the 6 bells.
