Wickwar, Holy Trinity
The Parish Church of Holy Trinity is in the north of the sizable village of Wickwar. The church and car park can be reached by following Church Lane from The Downs (B4509). I believe that there is also a footpath from Station Road that leads to the church.
The ringing room is reached by climbing a 39 step spiral staircase. There is limited seating for those not ringing the 6 bells.

of the
Four Shires Guild.
We were warned that the tenor has a tendency to go up wrong and that there was a temporary slider on bell #2.
I started by ringing up bell #5 and followed with a touch of Stedman Doubles on bell #3.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 6 bells with a tenor weighing 11-3-1 in G. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at Holy Trinity and some additional information provided by The Gloucester & Bristol Diocesan Association of Church Bell Ringers.
