Bodicote, St John the Baptist
The parish Church of St John the Baptist, Bodicote is situated, appropriately enough, on the west side of Church Street in the west of this sizable village. We managed to park on Church Street.
The churchyard reaches the western edge of the village and opens onto fields. The ringing room is reached by climbing a short wooden spiral stair up through a trapdoor. The room is very light with white painted walls and a large window. There is limited space to accomodate anyone not ringing one of the 8 bells.

My second visit was on Saturday 21st September 2013 as the third tower [1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th] of the WDCRA Southern Branch 2013 Tour.
I rang the Tenor twice, once for Plain Bob Triples and again for Grandsire Triples. We made two attempts at ringing a touch of Stedman Triples and on both ocaissions we failed part way through. I'm pretty sure that on at least on of the attempts I was not at fault. I did manage to ring a touch of Plain Bob Major, the second of the day, and ended by ringing down #6.
