Great Tew, St Michael & All Angels
The parish Church of St Michael & All Angels, Great Tew is situated south of the main part of the village on the east side of New Road at the edge of Great Tew Park. We managed to park opposite the entrance on New Road.
The church is not visible from the road and a short walk is necessary with the park on your right and the estate wals on the left. The churchyard is not very well kept and large parts are overgrown. The bells are rung from the ground floor.

My first visit was on Saturday 21st September 2013 as the fifth tower [1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th] of the WDCRA Southern Branch 2013 Tour.
We were down to nine ringers but the local who met us stayed to ring with us. I started by ringing up bell #5. I rang the Tenor for some Plain Bob Triples and the #7 for Rounds and Call Changes. I ended by ringing Grandsire Triples on #6 and then ringing it down.
