Brockenhurst, St Nicholas
The parish church of St Nicholas, Brockenhurst is located away from the bulk of this, the largest in the New Forest, village and appropriately enough beside Church Lane. The church has a car park.
This is a ground floor ring but the wood panelled space is quite tight with just enough room for the eight ringers.

I visited for the first time on Saturday 4th July 2015 as the second tower of the Four Shires Guild annual tour. [1st, 3rd, 4th].
I started by ringing up the tenor, not too arduous as it only weighs a little over 4cwt. I also rang bell #6 for Grandsire Triples and bell #5 for Stedman Triples.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 8 bells with a tenor weighing 4-1-12 in B. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Nicholas and more information is provided by the Winchester and Portsmouth Diocesan Guild.
