Hereford, St Nicholas
The Hereford Parish Church of St Nicholas is located near the centre of this small city at the junction of Victoria Street (A49) and Barton Road. It is a short walk west from the Cathedral and an even shorter walk north from the River Wye. The church is relatively modern in that it was built in the early victorian era, c.1842.
The small ringing room is reached by climbing a wooden staircase with an awkward trapdoor arrangement. The start of the stair is inside the tower.

My first visit on Saturday 22nd September 2012 was as the third tower of the WDCRA Southern Branch 2012 Tour.
I started by ringing up bell #4 followed by ringing the Tenor for some Rounds & Call Changes. My final ring was bell #5 for a touch of Stedman Triples, I was pleased to get all the way through!
