Clanfield, St Stephen
The parish Church of St Stephen, Clanfield is situated on the north side of Pound Lane in the north of this moderately sized village. There is limited parking on the verge of Pound Lane.
The large churchyard is well maintained with lots of open space to the south. Ringing takes place on the ground floor where there is plenty of space to ring the eight bells.

My first visit was on Thursday 17th October 2013 as the first tower

Four Shires Guild.
My sole interaction with these bells was to ring up bell #5.
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 8 bells with a tenor weighing 12-3-16 in F#. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at St Stephen and more information is provided by the Oxford Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers.
