Corston, All Saints
The Parish church of All Saints in the small Somerset village of Corston is situated on the south side of the A39. The A39 is a busy road with no parking so I parked on Corston Lane on the opposite side of the road to the church.
The entrance to the stairway to the ringing room is within the tower.

I visited for the first time on Saturday 12th May 2012 as the fourth, and last, tower
[1st,
2nd,
3rd]
of the 2012 Tower Outing
of the Studley Ringers.
The last tower of the day was in many ways where the best ringing took place. I am not a morning person and the least skilled of those ringing so it was probably down to me. I started by ringing up bell #7 followed by a touch of Grandsire Triples. I then rang bell #4 for the best touch of Stedman Triples of the day, i.e. one that got to the end. Next it was bell #5 for another nice touch of Grandsire Triples followed by Bob Major on bell #6. I rang down bell #5 to finish off an enjoyable, and successful, hours ringing.
A really enjoyable ring. An event was taking place at the church so we also got a nice afternoon tea!
The Bells
The tower has a ring of 8 bells with a tenor weighing 9-2-25 in Ab. Dove's Guide includes details of the bells at All Saints, additional information is provided by the Bath and Wells Diocesan Association.
